At our hostel in Chaparda, Gujarat, we give orphaned and underprivileged girls – who would otherwise receive no schooling – food, shelter, healthcare, education, and hope for the future.
The girls are aged 7 to 19. They learn academic subjects – maths, science, Gujarati, English – as well as cookery, craft, sport and music, equipping them with lifelong skills and independence.
Mukti Trust relies entirely on YOUR donations – every penny goes straight to the girls. You can sponsor a girl from as little as £10 a month. You can also write to her, and even volunteer at the hostel.
