Our first ever Golf Day was held at The Shire London, where the weather was beautifully sunny and warm. Geese had set up camp on the fairway, and soon the golfers arrived in their own gaggles, keen to show off their swing.

The day saw a total of 47 golfers tee off, completing 18 holes in style. The winning score was a fantastic 40 by William Willis.

Many more joined us for a magnificent dinner with king-size portions, followed by an auction with a twist.

Overall the day was a big success, even though nobody bagged the main prize of a Mercedes car by scoring a hole-in-one.
