Mukti Trust would like to invite you and three friends or colleagues to a fantastic day of golf at The Shire London.

Mukti Trust is a registered charity dedicated to helping orphaned, destitute and under privileged girls. By participating in our Golf event, you will help to provide support and education to the girls residing at the hostel set up by Mukti Trust in Chaparda, Gujarat.

The Shire London is a magnificent, undulating 7200 yard championship golf course, designed by golf legend Seve Ballesteros. With water featuring on 12 holes, the course is a visually stunning challenge to golfers of all abilities. It is designed for maximum enjoyment, with equal numbers of par 3s, 4s and 5s. No two consecutive holes are the same par. The Shire London is 2 minutes drive from Junction 23 of the M25 (A1/M25 interchange on the A1081). The Shire London, St Albans Rd, Herts. EN5 4RE

 

The Competition:

The competition will be over 27 holes, including a 9 hole team event split into 2 divisions, and the main 18 hole singles stableford event. The maximum handicap will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies. The top 2 teams and top 4 singles scores will qualify for the main prizes. In addition, there will be numerous ancillary prizes, including best front nine and back nine, nearest-the-pin, and longest drive amongst others. There will also be a fabulous prize for a ‘hole-in-one’.

The Golf Clinic:

While the golfers play the main event in the afternoon, there will be a 3.5hour golf clinic for the non-playing, but perhaps aspiring golfers. This clinic will follow lunch, and will cover the basics of golf, including the golf swing, putting, short game, followed by a few holes on the 9 hole golf course at The Shire.
